Playa del Inglés (Beach of the English) is the largest tourist resort of the island. A mass of apartment blocks and hotels, bars, clubs and restaurants it truly caters for all ages and tastes.
Its broad expanse of sandy beach, awarded the prestigious Blue Flag, stretches from San Agustín to Maspalomas. Entrance to the main Playa del Ingles beach is via steps with the watersports area close to Annexo II? shopping centre. Family daytime entertainment can be found at an aquapark in neighbouring Maspalomas, Aqualand or in the smaller one, Aqua Park at Puerto Rico.
