Punta Prima is a secluded beach resort with a spacious feel located in the south east corner of Menorca just 15 minutes away from the airport. A good selection of bars and restaurants overlooking the beach along with two well stocked supermarkets provide everything needed for day to day living, plus a couple of gift shops and car hire etc. Currency exchange is available in a number of outlets, including the supermarkets. The beach in Playa Prima is one of the best with fine, white sands leading down to the waters edge. A number of easy walks can be found in and around this area and since the terrain is relatively flat, none of them are too strenuous. Some favourites are along the coast line in both directions, east towards Cala Alcaufar and S'Algar and west taking you to Cala Biniancola. There are a number of good restaurants with a diverse choice including Tapas, British and Italian cuisine as well as a lot of seafood. For nightlife, there are several bars and discos to with lively entertainment and music. Punta Prima has a good choice accommodation ranging from 5 star hotels, quality hostels and apartment complexes, plus a selection of good privately owned property to rent.
