Sa Coma is located on the eastern coast of Majorca almost midway between Cala Millor and Porto Cristo. This relaxing family resort has an excellent sandy beach and tranquil waters with a good selection of water sports and beach facilities including windsurfing and pedalos to hire. Behind the beach is a wide traffic free promenade that runs the full length of the resort towards S'Illot to the south and the smaller sheltered beach of Cala Moreya. A footbridge joins the two resorts over the small freshwater lagoon and also a slightly longer road bridge. Visitors can explore the Auto Safari Zoo as well as the magnificent Caves of Drach. Sa Coma has many bars and restaurants providing everything from the usual island fish menus to fast food. Traditional Majorcan food can more easily be found in S’Illot at the southern end of the promenade. Evening entertainment in Sa Coma is generally hotel based, although the resort does have a small number of lively bars. In addition, the bright lights of the lively Cala Millor are only around 5 minutes away by taxi. Sa Coma is 65 km north east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport.
