Situated on Menorca's south-west coast and approximately 30 minutes drive from Mahon airport, Son Bou is a firm favourite with families.
Son Bou has the longest beach in Menorca - nearly 3km of pale golden sand, making it ideal for sun worshippers and watersport enthusiasts. The sandy beach shelves gently into the sea, which is generally safe for swimming. The beach has several beach bars and a variety of watersports equipment is available to hire.
There are a range of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Son Bou features one of the island's only discos.
